Martin Ashford

After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from Norwich School of Art, Martin went on to work for some of the top post houses in London and New York, including the Moving Picture Company and Oasis Television. Over many years he has enjoyed successful collaborations working closely with directors, producers, other designers, and animators. Martin was Head of Graphics and the Lead VFX compositor on BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Children’s dramas Johnny and the Bomb and Stig of the Dump.

Recent projects Martin has worked on include creating the 3D medical and body animated graphics for ITV’s long-running series ‘Autopsy, The Last Days Of…’ as well as designing and animating the 3D and 2D graphics for a number of pharmaceutical agencies and their clients such as AstraZeneca, GSK, GE Healthcare, Abbott and Sartorius.

A few key facts about Martin. He attempts to keep fit by playing squash and cycling to the station. He might also claim to be a Francophile!

Best London gig to date: Orchestra Baobab, Jazz Café.  Favourite building: Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre.  Number one coffee shop: Hej, Bermondsey Square, SE1

David Edwards

A post graduate in Electronic Imaging from Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee, David has been working in television and motion graphics for over 25 years. Spending much of that time working in numerous design companies, post houses and recording studios in London. He has worked on some iconic shows on British television such as Live and Kicking and Robot Wars as well as international live music and corporate events.  He has a wide range of skills covering 2D and 3D animation, directing small shoots and design for print. He also loves collaborating with interesting new designers.

A few key facts: David has an inexplicable obsession with furniture design and has huge appetite for everything mid-century, unfortunately larger than his small house in Tunbridge Wells.  Loves travelling and enjoys escaping to the golf course when time and weather allows.

Favourite building: The Shard. Number one coffee shop: Fine Grind, Tunbridge Wells
